Maybe this blog thing is no longer a test.

WHEN JOSEPH, MOSES, AND ESTHER JOIN YOUR HAPPY DANCE.  We hit a big milestone this week. A brick and mortar store will be selling our Creations and we filled our first order for them. That sounds so official and fancy. It's really not. The store owner is the "Hill" part of WaTurHill Creations. Part of this first order was easy to fill; my sister and I just shopped WaTurHill on Etsy. The other half of the order has taken months of prototypes and discussions to put together. But we now make aprons and quilted wall hangings. Well, Mom makes aprons. I just advise on patterns and color choices and then cheer from the sidelines.

I like my role as team cheerleader. Most days. Especially when we're trying something new and out of our comfort zone. Our Joseph apron took a lot of cheering. Not the pattern itself, but the material choice and design of the one and only, unique because Mom said never again, Joseph Tee of Many Colors Apron. The Moses Apron got its name because the fabric we used for the prototype reminds me of the Hebrew cloth baby Moses was wrapped in when he was sent down the Nile in a basket in The Ten Commandments. Love that movie! So far I'm the only one in the family who sees the resemblance. So when we went to create our third apron, which is a more traditional ladies style, we had to keep up the Biblical theme and Esther (the Queen) Apron was named.

During the time Mom and I finished putting this order together, our Etsy shop was hopping. WaTurHill hit a milestone online that day too. It got rather obnoxiously joyful with all those happy dances. Made my cheerleader duties easy.

Enjoy this day the Lord has given us.
