This is my second post, but it's still just a test. I seem to have a theme; technologies I don't like but find myself using. This needs to stop. I fear Twitter may be post number three.

#DallasTurner #waturhillcreationsPINTEREST; IT'S ONLY TAKEN ME SEVEN ATTEMPTS. I sheepishly admit to opening and then closing several Pinterest accounts over the years. At first, I loved looking at all the possibilities. But it didn't take long to realize I was spending way too much time on this site. And I'm a cautious pinner. I'm not quick to pin any and everything that catches my eye. So I never engaged/investigated Pinterest beyond window shopping. Inevitably I would come across a pin that I wanted to look at and Pinterest required me to have an account to view it. Account numbers 2-6 were opened. And then quickly closed because I would click on a pin, thinking I'm going to see an article or website with more information on what caught my attention, and poof, I'm lost in a never-ending click cycle four boards deep. So, much like blogging, I put Pinterest on my mental list of online worlds I'm not interested in.

About a year ago I opened Account number 7 so I could share craft ideas and text messages with WaTurHill's youngest crafter. Occasionally I would pin creations from our Etsy shop, but until recently I've pretty much ignored this social media platform. And even after spending the last three days immersed in articles, how-to videos, and trying things out on WaTurHill's site, I haven't changed my mind. The world of Pinterest just doesn't excite me. However, I have come to appreciate it for the marketing tool it is. Thanks for supporting WaTurHill in all our crazy adventures.

Enjoy this day the Lord has given us.
